IE Network Conference Workshop

Heating Workshop

Sunday, October 25, 2009

Location: Camouflage Room

Session 1 - 4:30-5:00 PM, Session 2 - 5:10-5:40 PM, Session 3 - 5:50-6:20 PM

Title of Session:

Home Energy in the Post-Downturn World

How has the stimulus bill transformed weatherization and how does that draw the home energy financing picture for the homeowner?

Natural gas is the common fuel for heating our homes, heating water and drying clothes. Strategies for reducing the use of this fossil fuel include home weatherization, more efficient water heaters and use of sun as a heat source

This workshop is designed to answer your questions and help you develop a strategy to maximize your home's natural gas effectiveness.

Presenter:

Meg McCormick is a home energy auditor in a local weatherization program, a Focus on Energy certified Home Performance Consultant and owner of SnugHouse Energy Audits, Inc.
